Shipping Returns
We ship most domestic and international packages via DHL with tracking and sign for service, as well as via our Amazon Logistic Centres located across the USA, Canada and EU.
We offer tree types of shipping service:
• Standard (5-7 business days)
• Express (2-3 business days)
• Next Day (no remote areas)
• All orders shipped outside the US or EU may be subject to local customs fees or duties. Duty, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up.
HASSLE FREE RETURNS:
• If you change your mind for any reason, you may contact us to arrange returns within 14 days of it being dispatched to you. (Full refund for unopened products only).
• In the unlikely event of an item being received damaged or faulty you have 28 days from date of dispatch to report this to us for a return. To arrange a return please contact us and we will be happy to facilitate. All you need to tell us is which item you wish to return and the reason why. We will then issue you with the return address specific to that item.
• You will need to package the item securely and include a brief cover note stating: Your User ID, the item you would like to return, the reason for the return and whether you would like a refund or a replacement. We will process your refund / replacement as soon as your item is received back into our warehouse.
FAQ
Are the repairs visible? +
No - The Polished glass panes will look no different from untouched ones.
Can all types of glass be repaired? +
No - Texture and coated glass cannot be repaired.
Will it weaken the glass?+
No - The scratch has already weakened the glass by causing a strain. We were asked to provide independent testing for London Underground and managed to prove that the Glass Polish systems actually strengthens the glass, when you remove the scratch you are creating a structurally sound piece of glass.
Can toughened glass be repaired?+
Yes - No problem at all. It is actually easier to repair and our system works very efficiently on tempered glass because of the glass density. Our scratch removal system work equally well on laminated, curved, plate and mirrored glass. Our systems are capable of handling any thickness of glass, including single glazing strength.
Will it work on curved glass?+
Yes - Absolutely we have 3" 75mm and 2" 50mm specially designed backing pads for work on curved glass allowing the same brilliant results. Our system is light, compact and can reach places considered to be unreachable before.
Does it work on tinted glass?+
Yes - the polishing process won't take any of the tint away since the tint is part of the glass and goes all the way through.
Can your kits remove mineral deposits, acid etching or chemical damage?+
Yes - Mineral deposits, acid etching or chemical damage are removed with great ease.
Does the glass have to be removed?+
No- All repair work can be carried out without the need to remove the glass unless access does not permit it.
How close to the edge can your kits polish?+
The kits can typically polish scratches right up to the edge of the glass. Our scratch repair process is not limited.
My felt polishing pad keeps drying out and going hard+
This is because of the heat from the polishing on the glass. You can get a pair of scissors to scrape the pad, and then apply a spray of water; this will reactivate the compound and allow you to get a better grip & polish on the glass.
The glass is still cloudy?+
*You may need to use more compound and polish for a little longer. *You might be using too much water *Try using a bit more pressure for a longer period of time *You may need to use the GP20 again for a bit longer and then re-polish
After using the scratch repair kit the scratches are still there!+
Repeat the process again and check after you have used the coarsest disc and that all the scratches are gone
Tips to get better results from your Glass Polish experience+
• Before polishing it is a good idea to tape up the edge of frames and seals to avoid any splashing of the polish and it also makes it easier to clean up when finished. • After polishing for 5-10 minutes scuff the pad with scissors and apply some water. This will help you get a better polish and will stop the pad from hardening. • When removing the scratch you want to use the right hand side of the pad with a slight gap under the left hand side. • Try not to finish on the same spot every time when removing the scratch; this will prevent you from causing distortion on the glass.
